About The Position

The Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak is looking for a FT - Pool Tech to join our amazing Property Operations Team! Hours: AM & PM - including weekends and holidays To maintain all pools and spas resort wide ensuring an attractive and well maintained facility. Have the ability to assist with the day to day pool & spa cleaning including but not limited to cleaning of water line and pool tiles, and vacuuming and brushing pool interior finishes. Assist others with basic pool repairs, and water balance procedures in order to maintain Crescent’s high standards of quality.

Requirements

  • Performing these duties requires experience in using basic hand and power tools and the ability to stoop, kneel, grasp, lift, push and pull weights up to 80 lbs., climb ladders up to 40 feet high and reach in all directions, often times overhead.
  • Must have the ability to communicate in English.
  • Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
  • Can communicate well with guests.
  • Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.
  • Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Lifting may include equipment or furniture weighing up to 80 lbs.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions from supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and perform cleaning tasks daily to ensure all pools and spas are clear in appearance. Including vacuuming, skimming, cleaning water and pool tiles, all interior surface finishes and clean skimmer baskets.
  • Visually inspect pools & Spas for cleanliness and report any challenges and repairs as needed.
  • Assist others as required for repairs to pools , spas , and related equipment
  • Detailed record keeping in English is required for logs and inspection
  • Report major repairs and items which cannot be repaired to the supervisor for further action.
  • Due to the nature of the business the individual may be required to do other duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor, such as shop clean up and labeling of hazardous materials, etc.
