About The Position

The City of Junction City is currently recruiting to fill three (3) Seasonal Pool Supervisor positions at Max Strauss Swimming Pool. These are temporary, seasonal full-time positions. Pool Supervisors play a key role in ensuring a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained aquatic facility for the community. This position is responsible for actively lifeguarding during public swims and programs using proactive scanning and preventative lifeguarding techniques, planning, coordinating, and teaching swim lessons as assigned, and assisting with daily pool operations. Supervisors will also support staff scheduling, review and maintain facility logs, monitor water chemistry, enforce safety and health regulations, and assist with coordinating swim meets and special programs. Excellent customer service and clear communication with staff and the public are essential components of this role. Requirements

• Applicants must hold or be able to obtain required Red Cross certifications
