Flexibility to work on short notice on various shifts and in various locations.
Valid Florida driver license.
Knowledge of HIPAA, Public Records, Sunshine Law, FERPA, and other laws/regulations related to student and employee privacy, public information, and records retention.
Knowledge of MDSS (Material Data Safety Sheets) and ability to follow applicable safety procedures and handling instructions.
Ability to work with equipment and chemicals commonly used in custodial work.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work independently and follow verbal and written instructions.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous custodian or janitorial experience.
Responsibilities
Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing classrooms, restrooms, hallways, cafeterias, and offices.
Empty and clean trash receptacles and recycling containers.
Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
Secure buildings by locking doors and windows, and ensuring alarms are set, as required.
Report maintenance issues, vandalism, or safety hazards to appropriate personnel.
Set up and take down furniture and equipment for events, meetings, or classroom needs.
Pick up trash and debris from walkways, entrances and grounds as assigned.
Adhere to district safety procedures and guidelines for cleaning products and equipment.
