About The Position
Immediate opportunity for a responsible, reliable, hardworking Pool Service Technician to join our growing team: No experience as a pool technician is necessary A minimum of five years verifiable work history is required (no experience as a pool technician required) Full time and part time positions are available Can competently answer phone calls when not working on pools Pool Scouts’ mantra is “Perfect Pools, Scout’s Honor,” which we deliver by providing exceptional customer experience. Requirements
- Customer service mindset: confident, professional, friendly
- Hard-working with a positive attitude and initiative
- Reliable to work according to schedule, based on mutual respect amongst the team
- Some heavy lifting (could be 50 lbs)
- Able to use service app on smartphone
- Enjoy being outdoors and doing physical work
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record (company vehicle provided)
- Good background check
- A minimum of five years verifiable work history is required (no experience as a pool technician required)
- Can competently answer phone calls when not working on pools
Responsibilities
- Be ready to get trained and learn the job
- Treat each service visit with customer satisfaction in mind
- Perform filter cleanings, one-time services, and recurring pool maintenance
- Maintain equipment and chemical stock levels in company vehicle
- Update customer pool records, report any pool issues to management
- Test water chemistry and add chemicals as needed
- Vacuum, skim, brush pools, and empty pool baskets
- Backwash filters, check pool equipment
- Other duties as assigned
