About The Position

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following is a summary of the major responsibilities of the position. Primary Tasks: Maintain the pool area according to the quality standards of the Hyatt Centric. Ensure cleanliness and readiness of entire pool area Greet all guests as they arrive at the poolside area Escort them to the desired lounges and/or table Empty trash as needed Offer and sell food and beverage items through Pool Bar to guests as needed. Open towels and provide guests with water Address and resolve all customer issues in an efficient and effective manner. Ensure all equipment is clean and in proper working condition. Report all deficiencies to the appropriate manager. Follow lost and found procedures in an efficient a timely manner. Responsible for the achievement of departmental objectives and goals. Maintain open communication with other departments. Attend meetings as necessary. Promote teamwork, employee motivation, and morale. Remain mindful of energy conservation. Follow all safety and security regulations. Maintain the confidentiality of the Hyatt Centric and its guests. At all times, adhere to the policies and procedures of the Hyatt Centric. Any other assigned tasks or duties as required. Uphold Hyatt Centric’s commitment to superior service and hospitality.

Requirements

Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good swimming abilities.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
While performing the duties of this position, colleague is regularly required to stand, walk, talk and hear.
The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste and smell.
Must be able to lift and/or move 30 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
