About The Position

Omni Tempe Hotel's Salt & Gila pool bar is looking for a part-time Pool Server. This is a great part-time role for someone who likes to create a fun atmosphere in a relaxed environment. Weekend availability is required for this position.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a server is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for engaging with a diverse range of guests.
• Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Availability to work weekends.
• Current food handler's card and alcohol service certification as per local, state, or federal regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality or related field is a plus.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, place, and carry objects weighing up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Serve a variety of craft cocktails, beverages, and menu items with precision and creativity, adhering to the Omni Tempe Hotel's high standards of quality.
• Engage with guests to provide a memorable experience, offering recommendations and personalizing interactions to meet guest preferences.
• Ensure the bar and serving areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked, maintaining a safe and inviting environment for guests.
• Handle cash and payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor and manage bar inventory, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal liquor laws.
• Work flexibly across bartending and serving roles, ensuring seamless service at the Salt & Gila pool bar.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
