About The Position

Exciting opportunity to join a strong and growing national company! The #1 Residential Swimming Pool Builder in the USA is looking for an experienced sales professional to join our team as our Renovation Sales Specialist in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area! Responsible for running assigned, qualified sales appointments and meeting with potential customers to accomplish the ultimate objective of successfully closing a sale; generating positive profitability; and exceeding customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Swimming pool build and service knowledge required.
  • Two years successfully selling pool renovations or new pool sales preferred.
  • Three plus years successful B to C sales experience required.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Microsoft Office; proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of CRM software.
  • Customer service orientated.
  • Must be committed and willing to put in the necessary time to be successful; able to work occasionally evenings and weekends.
  • Works well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both written and spoken.
  • Strong negotiating skills to persuade and influence others.
  • Participates and works well in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
  • Excellent organization and follow-up skills.
  • Must feel comfortable being compensated under an open ended 100% commission pay structure after an initial period on salary.
  • Positive and outgoing personality

Responsibilities

  • Meets with customers and explain features and merits of A&S pool renovation, backyard offerings and pool services.
  • Present unique designs or product recommendations utilizing professional and persuasive sales techniques.
  • Conducts immediate and scheduled customer follow up, presenting company, marketing, and related sales information.
  • Work cross functionally to ensure consistent customer communications.
  • Develops pricing in accordance with company cost breakdown methodology.
  • Participates in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
  • Actively pursues networking and developing relationships with related businesses, i.e., landscapers, service dealers, and builders.
  • Identifies new sales prospects and contacts such to establish a positive business relationship for referrals.
  • Assists in the development of marketing efforts using his/her local market and customer knowledge.
  • Assists in the development of sales presentation and collateral materials.
  • Prepares a variety of status reports, as needed, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
