About The Position
The Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse- DPC RN is a licensed professional able to demonstrate the following proficiency and mastery of the core competencies: assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership and service who delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing and promoting evidence based practice standards of quality, safety and service. Estimated pay range for this position is $64.00 / hour depending on shift as applicable.
Requirements
- Minimum Required Experience: 2 years.
- ASN, Licensed Registered Nurse eligible to practice in FL; have BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (dependent upon unit) certification by the AHA or American Red Cross.
- This is a 12-week commitment in the Baptist Health Seasonal Nursing Pool, which is a temporary nursing position.
- Seasonal Nursing Pool Employees will not be flexed.
- Seasonal Nursing Pool Employees will not accrue and are not entitled to Paid Time Off (PTO), nor are they permitted to request time off during the Agreement Period.
- Seasonal Nursing Pool employees are not eligible to participate in any Boca Raton Regional or Baptist Health South Florida benefit, shift differential, or bonus programs.
Responsibilities
- Float to all areas within the hospital as needed or assigned
- Work any three twelve hour shifts per week and every other weekend during the Agreement period for a total of 36 hours per week.
