Job Summary Oversees all aspects of the pool areas, including overall maintenance, daily upkeep, cleanliness, and the operation of cabana units. Assists the Pool Operations Manager with the oversight of all recreation associates

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; 1 year experience in the recreation/health club operations or related professional area.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Requires outside work in hot and cold temperatures
  • Must be able to lift pounds

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and Pool Operations employees.
  • Supports day-to-day operations.
  • Understands employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence.
  • Monitors quality, standards and meets the expectations of the customers daily.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes.
  • Schedules events, programs, and activities, as well as the work of others.
  • Provides personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients.
  • Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
  • Supports the management of outside vendors, including water sports and scuba.
  • Orders and manages necessary supplies.
  • Ensures workers have supplies, equipment, tools, and uniforms necessary to do their jobs.
  • Manages the children's program (e.g., coordinates activities, purchases equipment etc.).
  • Manages group activities
  • Manages pool and beach areas, including overall maintenance, daily upkeep and cleanliness, and the operation of cabana units.
  • Assists in supervising daily shift operations.
  • Supervises outlets and all related areas in the absence of the Director of F&B/Outlets or F&B Outlet Manager.
  • Participates in department meetings by communicating a clear and consistent message regarding the departmental goals to produce desired results.
  • Monitors alcohol beverage service in compliance with local laws.
  • Complete responsibility for all Risk Management policies, procedures, goals and objectives to include guest/employee safety and health, protection of all hotel and guest property, and all relevant legislated requirements.
