The Pool Manager is responsible for the operations of a single multi guard facility for the swim season. They handle day-to-day management tasks associated with the pool that includes maintenance, staff scheduling, event coordination, and direct client relations. They are also involved with pre-season opening duties. They must meet specific criteria and guidelines to ensure proper operation of the facility. Chain of Command: The pool manager will report directly to the zone supervisor and our customers. Scope: The basic function of the pool manager is to provide the necessary coordination to control the day-to-day operations of his/her pool in a manner that will ensure client satisfaction resulting in a clean, safe, family environment. Good Performance: Good performance is judged by the following criteria: Establishes and maintains control of all aspects of the facility Ensures our quality of service by maintaining a safe, clean, family swimming environment All required reports are completed accurately and turned in on time Recognized as a leader by fellow employees and the client Exhibits a can-do attitude and is positive with patrons and staff Limits overtime and schedules efficiently Mains a professional image of Douglas Aquatics at all times
