Job Summary The Pool Server will work outside on the pool deck and will provide guests with an exceptional dining experience by delivering outstanding service in a friendly, timely and professional manner.

  • Sit, stand, bend, walk, take stairs, use hands and fingers, and lift objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work outside on the pool deck in extremely warm conditions
  • Talk, listen, and perform tasks involving close vision, particularly with computer screens.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 to 5 years of serving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly with a smile and a friendly welcome within 3 minutes of being seated.
  • Front of house presence and monitoring of both indoor and outdoor entrances.
  • Recommend at least two drink options, two appetizers, daily dinner specials, and two desserts.
  • Maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance, including proper uniform and name badge, following standards.
  • Record orders correctly, confirm selections with guests, and input them into the POS.
  • Refill beverages promptly, checking when glass is half full.
  • Ensure proper table maintenance; restock and clean sugar caddies, condiments, and table tents.
  • Adhere to all state, federal, and company regulations regarding the service of food and alcoholic beverages.
  • Do not smoke, vape, or chew gum while on duty.
  • Refuse service to intoxicated guests and notify the Manager on Duty immediately.
  • Request identification from guests who appear underage, and if in doubt, involve the Manager on Duty.
  • Report any unusual occurrences to the Director or Manager on Duty.
  • Immediately notify Management of any unsatisfactory food or beverage items to ensure proper resolution.
  • Return dishes to kitchen if not prepared according to standards.
  • Follow established service procedures at all times.
  • Assist with cleanliness, restocking, food running, and bussing tables as needed.
  • Complete full list of side work pre and post shift.
  • Have in depth knowledge of menu and drink selections available to guests.
  • Complete or perform any additional tasks assigned by Restaurant or Hotel Management.
