About The Position

To perform histological preparations that are consistent with the Section's Policies and Procedures in order to deliver quality slides to the pathologist in a timely manner. Estimated pay range for this position is $38.25 / hour depending on shift as applicable.

Requirements

• High School, Certificate of completion, GED, Training, Experience.
• ASCP Certified Histotechnologist.
• Complete knowledge of Histology lab procedures including cryostat, gross room, accessioning, embedding, microtomy and staining.
• Less than 1 year

Nice To Haves

• ASCP certification is preferred.
