About The Position

The Pool Construction Foreman is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of residential and commercial pool construction projects from inception to completion. This role ensures that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards, meeting client specifications and regulatory requirements. The foreman coordinates with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team to maintain schedules, manage resources, and troubleshoot any issues that arise on-site. They play a critical role in maintaining clear communication between the client, project managers, and construction crews to ensure expectations are aligned and met. Ultimately, the Pool Construction Foreman drives the successful delivery of pool construction projects that enhance customer satisfaction and company reputation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pool construction or a related construction field.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role managing construction crews.
  • Strong knowledge of pool construction techniques, materials, and safety standards.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in construction management or related technical training.
  • Experience with project management software and construction scheduling tools.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and environmental regulations related to pool construction.
  • First aid and OSHA safety certification.
  • Experience working with both residential and commercial pool projects.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct daily activities of construction crews to ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, and according to project plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate with project managers and clients to review project progress, address concerns, and implement solutions promptly.
  • Manage procurement and delivery of materials and equipment, ensuring availability aligns with project timelines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to building codes and regulations.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members to promote skill development and maintain high performance standards.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed reports on project status, labor hours, and any incidents or delays.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure seamless integration of specialized work such as plumbing, electrical, and landscaping.
