Requirements

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to provide efficient, friendly service and maintain a clean, professional bar
  • Must be willing to work in indoors and outdoors
  • Must be willing to work well under pressure and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Must have unexpired Food Handlers and TABC – or obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Properly set-up and maintain a clean efficient service area of the bar throughout the shift, while maintaining cleanliness and presentation of all poolside tables and chairs throughout service.
  • Perform our guest services by using the Moments of Service guidelines, continually check back with guests, and anticipate guest needs before being asked.
  • Responsible for ringing orders into Micros and delivering orders to the table, while maintaining efficiency and urgency during high-volume service periods and preserving service standards.
  • Circulate pool deck regularly and proactively, providing poolside amenities such as water service, towels, and comfort-driven enhancements to elevate guest experience.
  • Keep all supplies stocked, and clean, clear and reset service areas as needed.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of cocktails, sprits, beer, wine and menu pairings, along with familiarity with food and drink menus.
  • Assist bartender when needed and aid guests in locating other areas of the hotel (walk them to destination if possible).
  • Protect the hotel from liability regarding over serving guests and adhere to cash handling standards.
  • Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure clean uniform and professional personal appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and certifications.
  • Complete all duties as assigned by manager.
