About The Position

As a Pool Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in our team, with responsibilities ranging from meticulous attention to detail in water chemistry to delivering exceptional customer service. Working independently, you'll demonstrate expertise in various areas, including water chemistry, hydraulics, and problem-solving, to ensure effective pool maintenance. Strong customer interaction and professionalism are key aspects of this role.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License.
  • Flexibility for overtime work.
  • Successful completion of post-offer background check, including MVR
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong time management skills and adaptability.

  • Safe lifting capabilities are up to 50lbs independently and up to 100lbs.
  • Competence in operating motor vehicles, including pickup trucks.

Responsibilities

  • Visit approximately 10-12 customer pools per day to perform the following Weekly tasks:
  • Water chemistry testing and application of chemicals to the water as needed using mathematical equations to properly dose. (PCC-R Methods)
  • Evaluate equipment to ensure its running properly.
  • Maintain cleanliness through safe and proper skimming, brushing and vacuuming.
  • Identify any problems with the swimming pool/spa and its equipment and notify the office for repairs.
  • Use of software and app-based technology to manage and track jobs.
  • Maintain clean working environment when on-site at customer location or in work vehicle.
  • Run Parts and equipment to customer sites, as needed, for repairs.
  • Work collaboratively with Service Techs and communicate regularly to ensure proper functionality of all equipment.
  • Help in the shop, as needed, to prepare for customer delivery of parts and equipment.
  • Ensure assigned work truck is properly stocked with the needed chemicals and tools to properly treat and clean assigned pools.
