JOB SUMMARY The primary responsibility of the Cashier is to accurately process cash register transactions while ensuring guests are greeted warmly and assisted in a timely and efficient manner. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Greet customers promptly and courteously. Ensure all work areas remain clean and free of debris. Answer telephones using proper etiquette as outlined in department standards. Count and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift. QUALIFICATIONS Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Neat, professional appearance. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to interact effectively with customers and co‑workers. Ability to operate a computer and/or cash register. PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS This position operates in a fast‑paced environment with multiple tasks to manage under time constraints. The Cashier must be able to handle high business volumes and respond appropriately to sensitive situations involving guests or staff in a timely manner.
