Our Pool Café Attendant is a seasonal position that is great for students. We are flexible with schedules, offer free uniforms and lunch. We look forward to your application!  Objective: The primary purpose of a pool café attendant is to facilitate the food and beverage service to Members and their guests in the pool complex/snack stand.  It may include both the service and preparation of food and beverage items, in accordance with current Health Department standards.

Requirements

  • Strong work ethic, positive personality and attitude
  • Ensure uniform is clean and in accordance with Scioto Country Club’s uniform standards at all times
  • Attendants are expected to be on time for each scheduled shift, always check out with a manager/supervisor before leaving
  • Promptly and politely greet each member and guest you interact with, every hour of every day
  • Be knowledgeable about all products offered in your area
  • Learn members’ names and special preferences
  • Ensure that all food allergies are communicated to whoever is preparing the food and any supervisors/managers present to ensure they are adhered to.
  • High school degree completed or in pursuit thereof
  • Must be at least 16 years of age to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the preparation of snack stand items, including sandwiches, salads and beverages
  • Be knowledgeable about the menu and potential allergens
  • Accurately take and process orders 
  • Alert supervisor/manager of any dietary concerns or food allergies so that they may adhered to
  • Ensure all products served are department standard and correct
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of both the snack stand and pool deck dining areas
  • Accurately complete opening and closing duties (side work) as assigned by supervisor/manager
  • Ensure any members’ concerns are addressed immediately and satisfactory
  • Ensure storage areas are neat and organized
