The Bartender provides hotel guests and servers with quick and efficient beverage service with a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar. As Bartender, you should be able to: - Recognize regular guests and to greet them by their name. - Offer guests of the bar an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness. - Ensure that all details of service are performed properly and that every guest receives the highest quality of service. - Ascertain a guest's satisfaction and handle any problem which may arise informing a manager of the problem and how it was resolved. - Develop a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar, i.e. liquors, wines, beers, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs, specialty drinks, etc. - Stock the bar areas with liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, glassware and condiment - Develop a complete working knowledge of the menu items and their ingredients and preparation. - Utilize the hotel's computer system ringing up sales, printing checks, closing checks and completing closing readings.
