About the position
Pacific Hospitality Group is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in providing exceptional service to our pool guests. The role involves warmly greeting guests, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the pool area, and ensuring a comfortable environment for all visitors. The ideal candidate will assist guests with their recreation needs and support pool servers in delivering food and beverages. This position is crucial in upholding our commitment to guest satisfaction and creating memorable experiences.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greets and welcomes guests upon arrival, offering amenities such as umbrellas, towels, and refreshments.
- Cleans and sets dining areas on the pool deck as directed, maintaining a neat and organized environment.
- Maintains cleanliness of pool areas and equipment, including the pool deck, cabanas, daybeds, lounge chairs, and pool towels.
- Stocks towels, linens, supplies, and amenities in the pool areas and provides towel service to pool guests as needed.
- Maintains knowledge of available amenities and upcoming events related to the pool and hotel.
- Completes pre, running, and post shift side-work requirements as directed.
- Reports any noted repairs or maintenance of recreation or public areas immediately.
- Resolves guest complaints within scope of authority and refers matters to management when necessary.
Requirements
- Prior food service experience desired.
- Prior related experience in a hotel or pool environment preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, hotel service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to a high level of guest satisfaction.
