Pool Attendant
About The Position
Schochet is currently seeking Pool Attendants. Bay View Estates is a family apartment community located in Portsmouth, RI. Duties include but not limited to: Validate each individual’s eligibility to enter and use the pool. Ensure the rules of the pool are maintained. Periodically check the pool facilities to make sure everything is proper working order. Ensure the pool area are property maintained and clean. Pick up garbage, return moved furniture to its proper location, and place trash in outside receptacles. Check and lock all doors at closing time. Answer resident’s questions or direct them to the correct property staff. Complete all other tasks as assigned by Property Manager. Clean and sanitize pool area during the day. You will be validating residency for using the facilities, locking up at the end of the shift, & picking up/cleaning facility at the end of the shift. Must be able to work independently, strong customer service skills, assertive people person to enforce all POOL RULES & REGULATIONS. CPR and Lifeguarding certifications a plus, but not required. The pool is open 7 days a week from 9:30am-6:00pm. Must be able to work flexible hours including, weekends, evenings, days and holidays. This position lasts Memorial Day through Labor Day.
