About The Position

The Pool Attendant is responsible for ensuring a pleasant and compliant pool experience for residents. This includes welcoming and greeting residents, assisting them with lounge covers, towels, and umbrellas, and maintaining a sign-in sheet. The role involves setting up umbrellas and cabanas, ensuring water, beverage containers, and skin care products are available, and folding towels daily. The attendant will assist residents with setting up pool area equipment, ensure compliance with Association Rules and Regulations, and report any malfunctions to the Supervisor. Key duties also include removing dirty towels and trash, maintaining and organizing pool furniture, floor candles, and tables, and completing a daily checklist. The position is mostly outdoors, near a pool, with a moderate noise level, and requires long periods of standing and walking.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a related position.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • The ability to work in a busy, luxury, and fast-paced environment.
  • Must convey a positive and “can-do” attitude at all times, including during high-stressful situations.
  • Must be able to work well in a collaborative environment with various team members in other departments.
  • Must be able communicate effectively with other team members and guests.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at a luxury property or hotel is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming and Greeting residents.
  • Assisting them with lounge covers, towers and umbrellas etc.
  • Maintain sign-in sheet.
  • Set up umbrellas and the cabanas.
  • Makes sure water is placed on the table, as well as the beverage container and skin care products.
  • Fold towels daily to be offered to the residents.
  • Assist residents with setting up lounge chairs, umbrellas, and other pool area equipment.
  • Ensure residents are complying with Association Rules and Regulations.
  • Report any malfunction immediately to Supervisor.
  • Remove dirty towels and trash.
  • Maintain and organize the pool furniture, floor candles and tables.
  • Complete daily check list.
