About The Position
The Pool Attendant/Housekeeper is responsible for providing the highest quality housekeeping and pool service to members and guests, adhering to service standards set by the housekeeping management team. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning services in pool areas within the community, as well as cleaning common buildings or member homes as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, stand and push, pull and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs
- Must be high energy, guest service oriented and able to ensure our guests/members are handled with the utmost courtesy and professionalism
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate with guest/members and co-workers
- Able to work a flexible schedule as needed
- Utilize gas powered or electric utility vehicle/Golf cart
- Utilize all-purpose cleaners, bleach, disinfectant, stain removers, and other related general cleaning products
- Utilize Commercial lawn equipment- leaf blower
- Adhere to Quail Ridge dress and grooming standards
- Proper use of all company equipment and vehicles
- Adhere to all posted traffic signs and speed limits
- Adhere to Quail Ridge emergency procedures
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in private housekeeping environment preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping preferred
- Previous cleaning experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform daily scheduled cleaning services, including a variety of cleaning functions/requests as assigned by Manager
- Maintain cleanliness in all 26 pool related areas
- Empty garbage in all common areas of pools and golf rest stops
- Refill all cups, paper towels, toilet paper, and paper goods
- Maintain cleaning and maintenance of all pool/golf areas
- Collect trash, scrub sinks, toilets, BBQ grills, etc.
- Perform routine cleaning of bathroom facilities
- Daily collection and disposal of garbage
- Report any maintenance/cleaning deficiencies to Supervisor, immediately
- Report all safety and security issues to Supervisor, immediately
- Communicate with Supervisor to ensure all guest/member requests are addressed
- Understand and strive toward the goals of the Quail Ridge Mission Statement
- Assist with other related pool duties and/or other assigned tasks as directed by Supervisor
- Perform a variety of housekeeping/cleaning duties in members homes or common building areas, as needed for coverage when assigned
- Perform other functions as assigned by management
