About The Position

The team at Margaritaville Lake Resort aims to create and deliver fun and escapism for guests through a variety of recreational activities. This role is for a friendly, confident, and welcoming individual to attend to indoor or outdoor pools and/or the indoor waterpark, assisting guests as needed. As a Pool/Waterpark Attendant, you will be a vital part of creating an environment of fun and participation while ensuring guests enjoy the area safely. The role involves interacting with people of all ages, including young children.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Possess strong hospitality skills while in direct contact with the guests, other staff members and on the phone.
• Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.
• Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
• Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
• Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
• Conducts him\herself, acts and dresses professionally at all times
• Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally.
• Actively listens to others.
• Conveys company information, decision, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pool chemical and cleaning logs.
• Greet all guests and creating a hospitable atmosphere.
• Maintain a safe and clean facility and enforce all appropriate safety rules.
• Ensure guests are using the slides and water areas safely and following safety instructions and guidelines.
