About The Position

Located on the Island’s west end, just a short drive from the main gate, sits the highly-anticipated Cape Club featuring an oceanfront infinity pool with chaise lounges and cabanas, an expansive sundeck overlooking the Atlantic, beach service, and a Latin-inspired restaurant led by Kiawah Island Club Chef Nico Quintero and James Beard Award winner and Club Culinary Advisor Chef Mike Lata. The restaurant will also offer food and beverage service poolside and by the beach, providing Members with the opportunity for al fresco daytime dining throughout the year. The menu reflects an elevated take on traditional Central and South American flavors and preparation with an emphasis on fresh, local seafood and great cocktails and mixed drinks. This full time or part time position with typical hours ranging from 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm, 11am-7pm, and noon-8pm.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs and be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up umbrellas and chairs; taking out the trash; emptying towel bins; cleaning up the pool area and locker rooms; and stocking products.
  • Executing daily station rotation and duties therein.
  • Attending to Club Members requests, needs, and questions ensuring an enjoyable and positive atmosphere.
  • Assisting with Food and Beverage Service
