About The Position

Wilson Community College is seeking to expand our pool of part-time/adjunct faculty for when a job is available to be filled for clinical or class instruction. These positions may or may not be available at this time; however, after a review of qualifications, applicants may be contacted in the future. Part-time/adjunct faculty provide quality, effective instruction in assigned courses on a part-time, temporary basis. Only qualified, credentialed applicants will be considered.

Requirements

• Candidate must have at least a Master's degree in biology or a master's degree and at least 18 graduate hours in biology.
• Three to five years of teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with online instruction is preferred.
• Experience with Moodle is preferred.

Responsibilities

• To teach a variety of biology courses to include general biology, microbiology, and/or anatomy and physiology.
