About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Polyurethane Foam Technician with proven experience in the foundation repair industry. This position is responsible for performing high-quality polyurethane foam injections to lift and improve slope, concrete surfaces, and structural components. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, safety-driven, and capable of diagnosing jobsite conditions to determine proper foam application techniques. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to make quick and logical decisions when challenges arise, and the physical capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced field environment. Supervisory experience is highly valued, as this position may involve leading or directing small crews. Above all, the technician must deliver professional service and maintain clean, organized equipment and work areas.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in the foundation repair, concrete lifting, or related construction trade.
  • Solid understanding of residential construction, including foundations, framing, basic structural components, and concrete behavior.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot foam injection equipment.
  • Professional communication skills for interacting with homeowners, inspectors, team members, and supervisors.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess site conditions and make quick, logical decisions when unexpected issues arise.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to stand, bend, crawl, and work in confined or physically demanding environments for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely lift and maneuver 50+ lbs. daily.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of supervisory or crew-lead experience preferred (required for some assignments).

Responsibilities

  • Perform polyurethane foam injections to lift and improve concrete slabs, driveways, patios, interior floors, pool decks, and structural elements.
  • Diagnose settlement issues and determine proper injection points, foam products, and application methods.
  • Monitor foam expansion, lift, and material flow to ensure results meet engineering or job specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe job site from set up to completion.
  • Load, unload, stage, and handle polyurethane materials, hoses, tools, and rig components.
  • Maintain the foam rig—including pumps, heaters, generators, hoses, and foam guns—to ensure proper calibration and performance.
  • Clean the foam gun, drills, and all foam equipment daily to prevent clogs, breakdowns, or material waste.
  • Keep the foam rig clean, organized, and serviced as needed.
  • Conduct routine inspections and immediately report mechanical or performance issues.
  • Follow all company, OSHA, and jobsite safety procedures without exception.
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors, crew members, and customers regarding project progress and expectations.
  • Ensure all work meets company quality standards and job specifications.
  • Document material usage, job details, and site conditions for reporting, customer records, and job costing.
  • Work effectively in various environmental conditions, including heat, cold, rain, confined spaces, and uneven terrain.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail always.
  • Represent the company respectfully on customer properties and maintain a clean work environment.
