Polysomnography Technologist
About The Position
Job Summary:#To perform polysomnographic recordings and the various technical duties related to the polysomnographic evaluations (HST, PSG, PAP, MWT#and MSLT) of various sleep disorders.# Prepare patients for testing, perform tests, and prepare test results for physician interpretation.# Complete other duties as needed. Qualifications:#High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an accredited polysomnography school required (unless already registered with the Board of Polysomnographic Technologists).# Must be registered as a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) within 12 months of employment, as well as, registered with the North Carolina Medical Board. Must have and maintain current BCLS. EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability
Requirements
