About The Position

The Largest Independent Established Multi-Specialty Group in Central North Carolina is Seeking a Part-Time Sleep Lab Technician to Join our Team in High Point” VOTED “ BUSINESS OF THE YEAR ” 2018 VOTED ONE OF THE “ FASTEST GROWING COMPANIES IN THE TRIAD ” 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 Bethany Medical, a Multi-Specialty physician practice located in Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem, Kernersville, North Wilkesboro, and Mt Airy, North Carolina, is seeking a Sleep Lab Technician to work in our High Point/Skeet Club location. This is an overnight, part-time position. The hours will be from 7 pm on Saturday to 7 am on Sunday. Responsibilities include technical, procedural, and problem-solving aspects. Needs to be able to work independently with minimum supervision. Ability to multitask with great attention to detail.

Requirements

• Completing an accredited educational program leads to an associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography.
• Successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one year duration associated with a state-licensed and/or nationally accredited educational facility or equivalent experience.
• Documented proficiency at all competencies required of a polysomnographic technologist or certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive polysomnographic testing, analysis, and associated interventions related to sleep disorders.
• Gathers and analyzes patient information.
• Performs preparation procedures.
• Performs polysomnographic procedures.
• Performs polysomnographic recording scoring.
