About The Position

Find your purpose with CentraCare working as a Polysomnography Tech! In this role, you will help our patients find the answers they are looking for to sleep better! You will work alongside new and experienced sleep techs. Our center administers various ways of testing including sleep studies, home visits, and more. The technologist, overseen by a physician, administers tests relating to sleep disorders in outpatients ranging in age from 5 years of age to adult. You will be responsible for administering and scoring polysomnographs, using Inspire, MSLTs, and CPAP titrations. For your safety, our policy is that you'll never work alone.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of a Polysomnographic Program of no less than one-year duration.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Neurodiagnostic Technologist.
• Successful completion of A-Step or Star Program and 2 years' experience in a sleep lab with passing of RPSGT sleep board exam.
• Registered Polysomnography Technologist Successful on-the-job training and RPSGT exam eligible.
• Must be a Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) within 2 years.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider card.

Responsibilities

• Administer and score polysomnographs.
• Conduct sleep studies and home visits.
• Use Inspire, MSLTs, and CPAP titrations.
• Work alongside new and experienced sleep techs.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during testing.

Benefits

• Starting pay begins at $29.90 per hour and increases with experience.
• Pay range: $29.90 - $45.98 per hour.
