Requirements

• High School Grad or Equivalent Required
• 1+ Years' Work Experience Required
• Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) Required

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of care as outlined in the Sleep Disorder Center policy/procedure manual.
• Perform diagnostic polysomnographic testing and assessment based therapeutic interventions.
• Analyze and score polysomnographic records when registered and competency is signed off by the Lead Polysomnographer and Medical Director.
• Incorporate patient, physician, customer needs and concerns into decision-making and organizational action.
• Access department and medical center information.
• Perform polysomnography procedures according to physician orders, department policy/procedure, and patient care plan.
• Adapt EEG, ECG, EMG, Legs, Snore Mic and Thermistor equipment to patient and obtain quality data.
• Consider family/work roles and obligations in assessment and intervention for adult patients.
