About The Position

Sentara RMH Medical Center, in Harrisonburg, VA is currently hiring a Polysomnographic Sleep Technician to work a Full Time, Rotating Swing shift. 5K Sign On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates! Hours After orientation period, permanent shift will be Wed, Thurs, Fri from 7pm-7am (Three/12-hour shifts) May require rotating weekend call or holiday coverage by cross covering within a team dynamics in the hospital setting covering EEG call rotations Overview Works under the supervision of the Department Manager/Coordinator to perform and evaluate overnight polysomnogram testing procedures in accordance to laboratory standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)
• Completion of a credentialed sleep program (Required)
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPT) (Required)
• Virginia Licensure as a Polysomnographic Technologist (Required)
• BLS
• 1 year of related work experience (Required)

Responsibilities

• perform and evaluate overnight polysomnogram testing procedures in accordance to laboratory standards
