About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Polysomnographic Technologist to perform overnight sleep studies and provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting diagnostic and therapeutic sleep procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with established protocols and standards.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification
Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
Experience performing sleep studies, including CPAP/BiPAP titrations
Familiarity with sleep software systems (e.g., Natus Sleepworks)
Ability to lift 75–100 lbs occasionally and carry up to 30 lbs
Strong observational, technical, and patient care skills

Nice To Haves

Experience working with pediatric and adult populations preferred

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, competent, and age-appropriate patient care
Prepare and conduct overnight sleep studies, including:
Reviewing patient records and physician orders
Identifying sleep-related complaints
Assessing medications, caffeine/alcohol intake, and sleep patterns
Perform complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for diverse patient populations
Conduct CPAP/BiPAP titration studies as required
Ensure proper setup, calibration, and maintenance of sleep study equipment
Adhere to safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with organizational policies
Support quality care through effective time and resource management
Participate in continuing education and competency development
Serve as a mentor or resource for less experienced staff when needed
Contribute to a patient-centered environment by delivering compassionate and personalized care
Perform additional duties as assigned
