You will be responsible for the performance of all aspects of sleep disorder testing performed on pediatrics through adults.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a polysomnography program associated with a state license and/or nationally accredited education facility and documented proficiency in all required competencies of a polysomnographic technician. OR If no education then must have 1 year of experience as a sleep lab tech and must complete education requirements within 1 year of hire or transfer.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of hire
• Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent within 1 year of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Patient screening and scheduling by phone
• Perform polysomnograms
• Perform patient education during and after patient admission
• Participate in case review and treatment plans with physicians
• Arrange the prescribed patient home therapy
