About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) for a night shift contract assignment. This role involves performing comprehensive sleep studies, monitoring patients overnight, and ensuring high-quality, safe, and compassionate care within a clinical sleep lab environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• Minimum 2+ years of experience performing sleep studies
• Strong knowledge of sleep disorders and diagnostic procedures
• Excellent patient care and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct overnight polysomnographic (sleep) studies
• Review patient records, physician orders, and study protocols
• Interview patients regarding sleep patterns, medications, and lifestyle factors
• Monitor, document, and evaluate patient responses throughout testing
• Perform complex diagnostic sleep procedures across diverse patient populations
• Identify and respond to sleep disorders and abnormalities during studies
• Ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols
• Maintain and troubleshoot sleep lab equipment
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and clinical standards
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care
• Support team members and assist in training less experienced staff when needed
• Contribute to maintaining high standards of service and departmental goals
• Maintain required certifications and competencies
• Participate in ongoing education and training programs
