About The Position

The Polysomnographic Technician II performs accurate Polysomnographic testing and adjusts sleep disorders treatments as directed by a physician to accurately and effectively diagnose and treat patients with Sleep Disorders. This role also involves supervising trainee and PSGT level I technologists. Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Sleep Disorders Center
  • Minimum of two (2) years of college in Allied Health classes OR seven (7) years of patient healthcare experience
  • Registered as a Polysomnographic Tech (RPSGT) or (RST) or Registered Respiratory Therapist - Sleep Disorder Specialist (RRT-SDS)
  • Current BLS certification for healthcare providers

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree in Allied Health Care area
  • Registry in Respiratory Therapy, or in EEG
  • At least three (3) years of experience in a Sleep Lab, with one year of experience in a supervisory position in a Sleep Disorders Center
