About The Position

Job Summary: This position is accountable for performing a variety of sleep studies in order to diagnose the type and extent of sleep disorders, as directed by a physician. The incumbent functions as a member of the patient care team scoring, recording and documenting data associated with the monitoring of physiologic data associated with patients during sleep. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D. (required)
  • BLS - Basic Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire or transfer into position (required)
  • CA Reg Polysomnographer Tech - RPT – Medical Board of California (required)
  • Minimum two (2) years Experience in a health care environment (required)
  • Knowledge of scoring sleep studies and providing diagnostic reports for physician review. (required)

Nice To Haves

  • RPSGT - Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - BRPT - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists within 24 months of hire or transfer into position (preferred)
  • Ability to score studies. (preferred)
  • Bilingual Skills Preferred.
