Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography.
• OR successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one-year duration associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility.
• Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent.
• CPR Certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association, basic CPR and AED.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 1 year experience as a Polysomnographic Technician with documented proficiency in all required competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders under the general supervision of the clinical director (MD, DO, or PhD) or designee.
• Perform polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, or patient care and education.
• Oversee other staff as a Polysomnographic Technologist.
