Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography OR successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one-year duration associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility.
• Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 1 year experience as a Polysomnographic Technician with documented proficiency in all required competencies.

Responsibilities

• Work under the general supervision of the clinical director (MD, DO, or PhD) or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.
• Perform polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services or patient care and education.
• Provide oversight of other staff as a Polysomnographic Technologist.
