Job Summary: Calibrates and adjusts sleep monitoring equipment by following written protocols for troubleshooting before and during testing to assure accuracy of test results and integrity of system. Demonstrates ability to properly apply polysomnography equipment to patient (electrodes and sensors) according to accepted published standards for optimal recording. Assesses patient during sleep studies by following written protocol to determine if CPAP/BIPAP/VPAP, Oxygen is necessary. Perform positive airway pressure (PAP) mask fitting and record information for physician usage in clinical assessment. Prepares face sheet report by interviewing the patient and reviewing medical history and referring MD's requisition. Work where every moment matters. Requirements

  • High School diploma plus 1 year of direct patient care experience or 2 years of post - secondary education required.
  • Registered Polysomnographer (RPsgt) required upon hire or credentialed RRT that obtains certification within 18 months of hire
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Polysomnographic Trainee with documented proficiency in all required competencies.
  • Ability to exercise good judgement.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated basic computer knowledge.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates of Science Degree preferred.
  • Proficient with Alice V acquisition system preferred.
