Job Summary: Calibrates and adjusts sleep monitoring equipment by following written protocols for troubleshooting before and during testing to assure accuracy of test results and integrity of system. Demonstrates ability to properly apply polysomnography equipment to patient (electrodes and sensors) according to accepted published standards for optimal recording. Assesses patient during sleep studies by following written protocol to determine if CPAP/BIPAP/VPAP, Oxygen is necessary. Perform positive airway pressure (PAP) mask fitting and record information for physician usage in clinical assessment.
