About The Position

Join Plastipak Champaign Be part of a growth-focused team in a safe, extremely clean, climate-controlled facility. We’re expanding in Champaign and need hands-on operators who thrive in high-volume production. What you will do Operate extrusion, injection, or blow-molding machines and auxiliary equipment. Set, monitor, and fine-tune heat control, water cooling temperatures, and hydraulic pressure. Perform basic machine maintenance to reduce downtime. Verify product quality through regular checks. Participate in training to sharpen and expand skills. What we offer Consistent Schedules Job Security Clean & Climate-Controlled Facility Career Growth Schedule details Nights: 6:45 pm – 7:15 am Standard rotating schedule of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off 2 long-weekends per month Full time is 15 working days per month Pay Earn $22 per hour $21 per hour base + $1.00 per hour night shift premium

Requirements

Ability to work a 12 hour shift on our 3-2-2-3 regular schedule cycle with every other weekend off.
At least 1 year in a high-volume production environment.
At least 1 year operating manufacturing machines & equipment.
Foundational knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
Strong problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without a reasonable accommodation.
