About The Position

Our Advanced Manufacturing Engineers play a pivotal role in the successful operation of our plant and are responsible for supporting day-to-day operations while implementing improvements in safety, reliability, and quality. You will work in a collaborative, cross-functional team, providing process technical expertise and leadership to solve complex technical problems and ensure reliable production of polyethylene to meet the world's growing needs.

Requirements

• B.S. Chemical Engineering
• 3+ years of chemical manufacturing plant experience
• Process Monitoring & Optimization
• Problem Solving & Troubleshooting
• Incident Investigation & Analysis
• Data Visualization
• Fundamentals of Safety & Risk
• Key behavioral skills - Adapts, Analytical, Applies Learning, Communicates Effectively, Shows Initiative

Nice To Haves

• Polyolefins, specifically Gas Phase and/or High Pressure Polyethylene
• Extrusion & Finishing
• Solids Handling

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day run plan support and troubleshooting, in close connection with Operations and Supply Chain
• Provide off-hours support for abnormal and non-routine operations, including unit outages and turnarounds
• Provide unit optimization guidance, in collaboration with Technical Center analysis and recommendations
• Participate in Quality investigations in response to Customer feedback and off-spec events
• Initiate and progress improvements through Management of Change Process
• Lead and/or participate in incident investigations, including identification and completion of follow-up actions
• Participate in outages and turnarounds, providing technical guidance and recommendations
• Participate in Risk Assessments and HAZOPs
• Initiate and develop low complexity projects
• Participate in product trials, in close collaboration with Technology engineers
• Participate in Technology networks, sharing and capturing learnings from plants across the globe
