About The Position

Due to continued growth and development, we are now looking for customer focused people to join us in our Utility Division, working on our Southern Water contract service to deliver real and effective solutions to waste-water network and drainage problems. First response to all pollution related incidents/jobs raised. Oversee and supervise any pollution site, ensuring safe, efficient and effective management of the incident. Initiate initial mitigation of pollution to minimise impact to the environment and wildlife. Lead the investigation to establish the cause of the pollution. Plan and organise ongoing mitigation or follow on works required. Oversee and facilitate the work required to ensure the issue is resolved quickly and to the correct standard, including facilitation of external contractors required for remediation works to ensure restoration of services. Ensure all evidence is captured to support the investigation of a pollution incident, or to demonstrate that no pollution has occurred, ensuring class leading data and image capture in Big Change. Delivering world class customer service and managing stakeholders such as the client, the Environment Agency and local authorities. Maintaining a no compromise approach to H&S practice while carrying out works. Carry out risk assessments and have a mature approach to risk perception. Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibility towards them. Any other reasonable ad-hoc duties requested by management. Requirements

You must have a full UK drivers licence.
The ideal candidate will be hard working and respectful and comply with health and safety standards.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the use of High Pressure Jetting equipment is useful but not essential.
Other drainage qualifications (e.g. NRSWA and Confined Spaces) are an advantage.
