About The Position
Beeflow is hiring seasonal Pollination Field Associates for the upcoming almond season! Join our biotech startup to work hands-on in the field, support research trials, collect data, and help farmers boost crop yields. Beeflow is a fast-growing biotech startup using science and technology to help farmers get more from their crops, sustainably. We create and manage cutting-edge pollination programs that boost yields while caring for bees and the environment. Our team combines expertise in crop pollination, bee biology, chemical ecology, and proprietary tech, like molecules that guide bees to specific crops and a plant-based diet that strengthens bee immunity. We’re looking for energetic, hands-on individuals to join our team for the upcoming almond season. You’ll be in the field supporting research trials, collecting data, and helping ensure our pollination programs run smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who loves working outdoors, contributing to cutting-edge agricultural research, and making a real impact on food production.
Requirements
- Field research experience
- Interest in pollination and/or agriculture
- A valid driver’s license and confidence in driving for long periods of time
- Ability to communicate clearly, consistently, and promptly.
- Familiarity with Google Suite
- Comfortable working independently in the field with support from remote manager
- Must be detailed oriented
- Currently living in Fresno, CA area.
Nice To Haves
- BS in Entomology, Agronomy, Plant Sciences, Biology, Ecology, or equivalent preferred
- Availability for a full-time seasonal position starting in late January or the first week of February, with a duration of 5–6 weeks.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred
Responsibilities
- Execute pollination services with growers
- Support R&D trials and collect key field data
- Maintain accurate daily records and field notes
- Tag crops systematically for research purposes
- Work efficiently across multiple fields to meet targets
- Share feedback to improve future projects
