About The Position
Concerned Veterans for America Action (CVAA) is seeking a Canvasser to join our team. The primary goal of this position is to engage communities and empower policy champions to pass transformational policies aimed at improving health care for veterans. As a grassroots organization, CVAA focuses on limited government and free market principles, and the Canvasser will play a crucial role in communicating these values to the public. This part-time role allows for a flexible schedule, enabling canvassers to choose their own hours while working primarily on the road. The position requires a proactive approach to canvassing, with an emphasis on meeting and exceeding door-to-door engagement goals. Canvassers will be expected to demonstrate enthusiasm for the organization's mission and effectively share knowledge about CVAA's work with the community. Additionally, the role involves managing time efficiently, driving to various job sites, and maintaining communication with management. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check.
