An exciting opportunity for a Political Action Committee Director to join our Rolls-Royce team in Reston, VA has arisen. As Political Action Committee Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the Rolls-Royce North American Political Action Committee, to include PAC operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, planning, and executing fundraising efforts, coordinating and leading efforts to increase political involvement across the company, and engaging with political stakeholders to promote the company's interests. The role will report to the SVP of Government Relations. In addition, this role will also support the Rolls-Royce Government Relations team in achieving its public policy objectives. The PAC Director must be capable of understanding substantive policy issues associated with the Defense, Civil Aerospace and Power Systems businesses affecting one of the world's leading companies.

  • Lead the strategic direction of the Rolls-Royce North America Holdings, Inc, Political Action Committee (Rolls-Royce PAC or its successor), ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives and legislative and policy priorities.
  • Develop and execute fundraising campaigns and engagement strategies to foster growth in PAC membership and revenue including the implementation of an annual enterprise-wide PAC solicitation that generates increased employee engagement and receipts.
  • Research and advise on best practices for PAC fundraising campaigns, donor recognition and engagement, best giving practices with federal candidates, and impact evaluation metrics.
  • Ensure the PAC complies with all federal, state, and local campaign finance laws, including timely filing of reports and maintaining records of contributions and expenditures.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the current policy landscape.
  • Track and analyze legislative and regulatory policy developments, providing intelligence and insights.
  • Prepare papers (write narratives, complete forms, coordinate application components with internal teams and any partners, preparing supporting documents as needed).
  • Execute other duties as assigned.
  • Associate degree with 7+ years of experience in political action committee management, fundraising, or U.S. Congress, OR Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in political action committee management, fundraising, or U.S. Congress, OR Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in political action committee management, fundraising, or U.S. Congress, OR JD/PhD, OR 9+ years of experience in political action committee management, fundraising, or U.S. Congress in lieu of a degree.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Understanding of the Federal Election Commission regulations, political campaigns, and rules governing the process.
  • Experience in political action committee management.
  • Experience on Capitol Hill or fundraising for an elected official.
  • Knowledge of the QuorumPAC platform.
