Metals USA is seeking a Polishing Line Manager for our Jeffersonville, IN location. Oversee the launch of newly installed equipment and help arrange training for the operations team members. Training should include how to best operate the equipment following the manufacturers training Manage a team of experienced operators and packaging / crane teammates for eventually a 24 hour a day operations. Initially will startup on first ship and grow the business Willingness to help grow the business participating in sales calls as needed with OEM's and mill customers Able to provide guidance in how to optimize performance for the coil to coil process Be responsible for the quality of the product shipping to customers Travel with sales team, Sales Manager, or GM as needed to help promote the equipment and team capabilities Metals USA offers competitive wages and benefits plus upward mobility towards professional growth. Requirements

  • Must have in-depth experience operating, supervising / managing a wet coil to coil polishing line
  • High School or Technical School graduate
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint a must
  • Willingness to work with a fantastic team of highly experienced operators to lead, develop, and startup a new line

Nice To Haves

  • Imeas line experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree a plus
  • Prior experience leading, supervising, or managing a team of operations members a plus
