About The Position

We are seeking Polished Concrete Installers who have experience or are willing to learn the process of grinding, honing, and polishing concrete to achieve a high gloss finish. This role involves operating various equipment and applying different materials to ensure quality results in concrete flooring projects.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation to and from jobsites.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with polishing concrete flooring.
• Maintain a positive attitude.
• Work as part of a team.
• Ability to work on knees.
• Lift up to 75 lbs.
• Good attention to detail.
• Complete yearly pulmonary function and respirator fit tests.
• Arrive to work on time.
• Occasionally work weekends and 2nd or 3rd shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 5 years' experience for the Foreman position.
• Experience managing labor, scheduling, tooling, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to interact with project superintendents, customer representatives, or facility managers.

Responsibilities

• Operate propane or electric walk-behind and remote-control grinders.
• Operate ride-on power trowels.
• Operate propane and electric dust collectors.
• Manage slurry effectively.
• Apply lithium, sodium, and potassium silicate densifiers.
• Apply Polyurea Grouts using cartridges and pumps.
• Utilize cement-based and polyurea repair materials.
• Prepare and polish edges using 5" and 7" grinders or 120V, 220V, and 480V stand-up edgers.
• Understand the proper use and applications of metal, hybrid, and resin diamond tooling.
• Apply heat set and penetrating stain protectors.
• Perform burnishing tasks.

Benefits

• Pay rates from $25.00 to $40.00 per hour.
