About The Position
Join Synergy Home Care as a European Certified Home Health Aide for a rewarding live-in position in The Bronx. You'll provide compassionate care and support to clients, enhancing their quality of life in a nurturing environment.
Requirements
- Must have a valid NYS Home Health Aide Certificate Approved by Department of Health.
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must pass background checks and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Medication reminder and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Document and report any changes in clients' health or behavior.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Follow care plans and assist with mobility.
- Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
- Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor
- Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading to keep them mentally healthy and alert
- Engage patients in exercises or other activities
