About the team and the role: eBay, Inc. seeks Policy Specialist 4 in San Jose, CA What you will accomplish: Job Duties: Develop significant insights that improve risk controls based on large incidents, near misses, and product and portfolio analysis. Help develop and implement risk policy frameworks to manage credit risk, products and portfolio threats, access policies, fraud prevention, limits, funds availability, and more. Monitor the performance of risk strategies and proactively seek out opportunities for improvement in policy, operations, and outputs. Utilize extensive Risk, SQL, and dashboard building and reporting experience. Utilize understanding of ecommerce/digital risk management in the following areas: user verification, payments ecosystem, stolen financial and account takeover behavior, fraud strategies, access/standards programs etc. Utilize experience in account level and portfolio level risk strategy development; willing to become familiar with industry benchmarks, technologies and standard methodologies. Partial telecommuting permitted from a commutable distance

Requirements

  • Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
