Position Overview Index Analytics is looking for an experienced Policy and Regulatory Analyst to join the team and support an ongoing contract. This role will oversee all policy and procedural research and documentation and serve as a subject‑matter expert in ACA and MACRA, providing policy expertise to both the contract team and the client.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the United States and able to demonstrate physical residency in the U.S. for at least 3 of the past 5 years.
  • Bachelor’s degree with four (4) or more years of experience.
  • Experience applying ACA and MACRA provisions to health policy development and regulatory analysis.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and professionally.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM or other customer relationship management platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support formative research and policy analysis to enhance the understanding of federal and state requirements related to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and Medicare and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA).
  • Develop and author program procedural documentation and work with the client to establish and implement within the program, ensuring alignment with customer and company standards, processes, and requirements.
  • Work in partnership with other Portfolio Managers, Policy SMEs, and project leadership to develop and maintain awareness of current policies and regulations and proactively identify downstream impacts and offer solutions.
  • Identify gaps in documentation/materials needed and participate in a process for corrective action as well as provide recommendations to enhance training materials, job aids, and operational documents.
  • Summarize information and effectively communicate findings, both in writing and verbally, within internal team and to external government and partners.
